3/26/13: Heartbreaking End to Mint 400
   Steve Strobel and the #94 Strobel Motorsports team had moved up from their 25th starting position to as high as 6th overall at the grueling Mint 400. However, during the final lap the rear shocks began to face which led to a rear-end housing break ending the team's run a mere 30 miles from the finish line. The team is back at the shop already prepping for the next BITD Silver State 300 race on May 5th.


2/2/13: Strobel Motorsports 4th In Season Opening Parker 425
   Picking up right where Strobel Motorsports left off in 2013, Steve Strobel and Dale Ebberts piloted the #94 Ford F-150 Trophy Truck to a 4th place finish at the always challenging BITD Parker 425 race. After qualifying the truck in the 17th spot, the team knew they would have their work cut out for them. However, with some skillful driving and some strong pit crew work the big red truck finished in 4th place, some 11 minutes behind the race winner. Next up is the BITD Mint 400 on March 21st.


11/16/12: Strobel Receives "Rookie" Of Year & Toyota Milestone Award
   "This is quite an honor" said Steve. "Receiving this recognition in the first full year of racing every 2012 SCORE event is special. What makes this more exciting is the fact that this was based upon input from fans and the many folks involved in off-road racing. I can't thank enough everyone who helps with our program. Thanks much to MasterCraft Safety for sponsoring the award as well! "
   Steve was also awarded the rare 2012 SCORE Toyota Milestone Award given to drivers who finished all 1,920.19 SCORE race miles during the season. Outgoing SCORE CEO Sal Fish along with Toyota's Les Unger, Toyota's National Motorsports manager and former Toyota desert racing champion Ivan Stewart presented this prestigious award to Steve.
   "Off-road racing is so challenging. To be successful you need a lot of supporters and our team has a great bunch of guys that love to compete with not only the other racers but with the desert. The help that Kevin Kroyer and all the guys at Kroyer Racing Engines provides, Schaeffer Oil, Fox Shox, Method Wheels, RePlayXD...everybody is absolutely invaluable. Thanks again to all who helped throughout the entire 2012 season!" Strobel said.
