Strobel Team Exits Laughlin Preliminarily 3rd in Standings! 
Laughlin, NV - 1/16/2012Owner/Driver Steve Strobel and Co-Driver JT Tondro pushed their BFGoodrich Schaeffer Manufacturing Ford race truck to the limit in 2 days of very exciting SCORE series racing at Laughlin. The results of their efforts yielded a 4th place finish on Saturday, and a very stout 3rd place podium finish on Sunday. The crew is very excited to head to the next event in San Felipe MEXICO sitting preliminarily in 3rd place in the SCORE Trophy Truck points standings with a lot of strong momentum going across the border with them. Reno, NV - 8/19/2011After battling one flat tire, a damaged wheel hub dust cover and a broken U-joint Steve and JT brought the truck home in 5th place in the Trophy Truck class, one position ahead of nearest points competitor BJ Baldwin. Had the race been scored official the Strobel Motorsports team would have captured their first overall Trophy Truck BITD season championship. However, the BITD race director assessed a penalty which he initially said was for leaving the race course in the final corner and then later changed the reason to be unsafe driving leading to the final race stop sign. Regardless of the questionable penalty the Strobel Motorsports team had an incredible 2011 campaign, piling up 547 series class points - a full 35 points ahead of BJ Baldwin who was awarded the Trophy Truck series championship after dropping the points from 1 race. The team is now fully focused on the 2012 racing campaign and looking forward to moving up to the premier off-road SCORE International racing series. Reno, NV - 8/19/2011 What a race! The #94 Trophy Truck takes the overall win over some very stiff competition in the Longest Off-Road Race in the United States. The team completed 3 scheduled pit stops over the 552 mile course in near record time and overcame 2 flat tires in the field for a 5 minute victory over the 2nd place Class 1 car. The Kroyer-powered truck ran flawlessly all day long while the BFG tires handled the very rough and rocky course extremely well. 12th Place Finish at Parker 425 Parker, AZ - 2/5/2011 After a fantastic first lap and an even better second lap which saw the #94 truck move up to 6th overall from 18th starting position the team finished 12th in Trophy Truck class after completing a transmission change. Outside of that trouble the truck ran well and driver Steve Strobel and co-driver "JT" John Tondro drove a nearly flawless race.
